FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
IF MY EVENT IS INSIDE, DOES THE PHOTO BUS HAVE TO STAY OUTSIDE?
Not always! The Shutter Bus is 68" wide and 82" tall, so as long as we can fit in the door and get permission from the venue, we will be there! That being said, we can be outdoors if your event is indoors.
HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED?
We ask for about a 10'x20' space when we're all up and running.
CAN YOU DRIVE THE PHOTO BUS?
Yes! We always drive The Photo Bus to events, but we usually push it into the venue.
MAY WE COME SEE THE PHOTO BUS PRIOR TO AN EVENT?
We do our best to attend as many local events as we can so you can experience our photo booth for yourself. You can find all of our public events on our Facebook page and our Instagram. If you are unable to go to one of the events, we would be happy to arrange a time to show you!
DO YOU PRINT ON-SITE?
All of our packages include printing unlimited photos on-site, and at no additional cost! What's even better is that every person who takes their picture in our photo booth gets a copy of their photo.
DO YOU POST THE IMAGES TO FACEBOOK?
Yes, we always post the images to Facebook so you - and your guests can have them for personal use. If you don't want them posted, thats fine too :)
CAN YOU PERSONALIZE THE PRINTS?
We always have The Shutter Bus logo on the bottom of prints, but we will also personalize it for your event, whether it's a wedding, birthday party, fundraiser, or just because! We are all about creating memories, so we are so happy to work with you to help people remember each event. See some examples HERE.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RENT YOUR MOBILE PHOTO BOOTH?
Our rates start at $500 and go to $1,000. All of our packages include your unlimited prints, an attendant to setup, run and tear down, props to use, and custom print design.
Our little company started with a dream of having the coolest photo booth on the Planet Earth! We scoured the internet for what seemed like years looking for the perfect little bus to add on to our business and convert into the Shutter Bus. Finally, we found the bus we wanted that was the right deal for us in Fort Scott, Kansas and jumped at the opportunity. It took us the better part of a year to have the restoration completed for The Shutter Bus. We found the perfect partner in Darryl's VW Air Cooled Engines in Neosho, Missouri to complete our restoration. Darryl took this hunk of rusty gold and really made our dream and vision come to life! How lucky were we to have someone so close to home that works solely on VW restoration projects?! So much sweat was poured into this project for all that were involved. Seeing it come to fruition has definitely been a dream come true. The Shutter Bus photo booth is based in Fayetteville, AR but we do travel throughout the midwest.
